Hello, I’m Eamon Leonard, I’m one of the founders of echolibre.
We’re a web app development company based in Dublin, Ireland. We’re really into building web apps and making things easier for businesses through web technology. We love what we do.
So, since this is our first post, I’d just like to give you more of an idea of who we are, why we’re here and where we’re going.
echolibre was founded in 2008 by myself, David Coallier and J.D. FitzGerald. We each have many years of web development experience behind us. I’ve worked since 1999 as a developer, project manager and production manager in the Irish web industry.
David is active on an international level, contributing to many well known open source projects such as PHP and is the current president of PHP PEAR which is an international group of developers working together, creating useful plug-in applications for the PHP programming language. David also takes the time to speak at conferences about the benefits of creating web software with PHP.
J.D has worked as a systems architect for many years with one of the biggest online accommodation companies in the world, Web Reservations International.
echolibre was formed with the intention of providing expert web development and systems architecture services to Irish and international companies. We also have in development some exciting projects that we’ll be releasing over the course of the next year.
So that’s a quick introduction into who we are. Feel free to drop us a line if you need help with a web project - you can email us on freedom@echolibre.com
You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
We like to blog about things we're passionate about. We love PHP, MySQL, CouchDB, Linux, Apache - web development standards. We also like writing about building web apps and working with web technology.
