[UPDATE] - a sincere thanks to all those who re-tweeted and responded to our call for developers. We’ve gotten a great response in the last two weeks and we’re working them. We’ll be in touch with everyone who contacted us in the coming days.
So, it’s been a while since our last post. We’ve been busy working with some very smart and talented Irish entrepreneurs on start up ideas, and the last few months have been a blast. We’ve got lots in store over the next six months and we’ve started to scale up our team.
Behind the scenes our team has grown to six, soon to be seven. Continuing on with this growth, we’re looking for two new team members: a PHP developer, and a Business developer.

How to get in touch
Send a short email to freedom@echolibre.com, telling us who you are, what your background is, and why you’d make a great addition to our team. Bonus points for attaching code samples, links to working apps, your Twitter feed etc.
This is for a short-term contract, if you’re a good match to our team we’d love to consider the position full time. Ideally, this suits a freelancer looking for something more permanent.
echolibre is a distributed company. Our devs work in pairs, from Dublin, Cork and London. Telecommuting is fine by us. Ideally you’re based in Ireland, Europe, North America.
First off - you need to be London based.
It’s a given that you’re a “self-starter, highly motivated individual, team player, yada, yada, yada…”
We work with start up web companies, so you need to be passionate about the UK and European web startup scene. Having some existing connections in this area is nice. However, the ability to make new connections is crucial. It would be a real advantage to have some web tech or design background. The bottom line is: we’re a web software company, so you need to have an understanding of web software, industry trends and web development in general. You need to be able to communicate with clients and developers alike.
As with the above position, this is a short-term contract for now, and if you like us and we like you, we’d love to make it something more permanent. This is the kind of role that would suit someone who’s been a web developer for a number of years, has always had a bit of an entrepreneurial streak, and is looking to go in a new direction.
